Terms of Service

Pre-release draft. These terms are available in the app for review. They must be checked against the final business, subscription, consumer and app-store setup before Peacehabit is opened for public or paid use.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply when you use the Peacehabit website, mobile application and related meditation, music, ambient-sound and sound-mixing features (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use account-only features.

2. What Peacehabit provides

Peacehabit offers a digital library of guided meditation recordings, music and nature sounds, a sound mixer, saved preferences and a seven-practice progress programme. Features may change as the Service develops. Some catalogue items are labelled Free, Premium or badge-unlocked; labels describe the intended access model and do not guarantee that a payment feature is currently available.

Peacehabit is a wellness and entertainment service. It is not a medical or mental-health service, does not diagnose or treat any condition, and does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Stop a practice if it makes you feel unwell. Seek qualified help for health concerns and emergency assistance for an emergency.

3. Preview features and availability

Some parts of Peacehabit are still in preview. Google Play subscription checkout, paid AI-credit purchases, push notifications and offline downloads are not available. AI voice generation may be enabled for approved test accounts. Test credits are free, have no monetary value and cannot be transferred or redeemed for money. One credit provides a five-minute practice, including quiet reflection. Credits are reserved when generation starts and returned if creation fails. Deleting a successfully created recording does not return its credits.

AI recordings use a synthetic voice and can contain mistakes. They are for general wellbeing, not medical or mental-health treatment. Do not use them while driving or operating machinery. Generation and storage limits apply during testing.

The app may show a proposed Premium price of €2.49 per month. No subscription can currently be purchased through that preview and no charge is made for it. When a paid subscription is activated, its actual price, billing period, renewal terms, cancellation method and any trial will be shown before purchase and reflected in an updated version of these Terms.

4. Accounts and security

You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in details private and promptly contact us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Guest mode keeps demo activity on the device and does not create a synced account.

You may update your display name and preferences in the app. To request deletion of a registered account and its associated Peacehabit data, follow the instructions on our account deletion page or email info@peacehabit.com from the address linked to your account. We may ask for information needed to verify the request. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days, subject to identity checks and data we must retain by law. If you have an active Google Play subscription in the future, cancel it separately through Google Play; deleting a Peacehabit account may not cancel store billing.

5. Subscriptions and other paid features

Paid features will only be offered after checkout is enabled. If a subscription is offered through Google Play, Google Play processes the order and manages renewal, cancellation and payment methods. The purchase screen will identify the billing period and amount. Unless cancelled under the store’s instructions, a subscription may renew at the then-disclosed price. You can manage or cancel it in your Google Play subscriptions settings.

Refunds, withdrawal rights and other consumer rights are governed by applicable law and the terms shown by the relevant store. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights you have under consumer-protection law. AI-credit packs, if introduced, will have their own clear price and use conditions before purchase.

6. Your right to use Peacehabit content

Peacehabit and its licensors own or license the app, recordings, artwork, text, names and other materials. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to access the Service for your private, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not copy, redistribute, publicly perform, sell, sublicense, scrape or make derivative commercial use of catalogue recordings or other protected content unless the rights holder has expressly allowed it.

You retain rights you already hold in material you submit. Please do not submit material that you do not have the right to use, or information you would not want processed as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, bypass access controls, interfere with its security or operation, attempt to access another person’s account, use the content in a way that infringes rights, or use the Service for unlawful purposes. We may restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service or other rights, or where law requires it. Where practical, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.

8. Service changes and interruptions

We may update, maintain or temporarily suspend parts of the Service for operational, security or legal reasons. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but uninterrupted access cannot be guaranteed. If a material change affects a paid feature after paid checkout launches, we will give any notice or remedy required by law.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, you use free preview features at your own discretion and we are not responsible for indirect losses that could not reasonably be foreseen. We remain responsible for losses that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence where applicable, personal injury caused by our fault, and your mandatory consumer rights. Nothing here limits statutory warranties or remedies.

10. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Service handles, why it is used and how to exercise your rights. It forms part of the information provided when you use Peacehabit.

11. Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia, without removing any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Courts with jurisdiction will be determined under applicable law, including consumer-protection rules.
